What information do we collect?

Everything is locally-hosted, meaning no company has view nor control over the data; only the site admin, and they do not store any data. For full transparency, an e-mail address is required to make an account, so while we are able to see that, we do not store it anywhere. An IP address is also required to use the site (since that’s literally how the Internet works). We can see the IP address, but again, we do not store it for our own records or anything like that. We also do not randomly check any of this information. If you are worried about it, feel free to use a VPN to mask your IP address! We recommend ProtonVPN and have no affiliation with them.

What do we use your information for?

Aside from sending occasional e-mails that you have to opt-in to receive, or the e-mail you get when registering on the site (and if you reset your password, etc.), nothing. These e-mails could be topics you subscribed to, etc.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information. Again, everything is hosted locally.

What is your data retention policy?

Search query logs (for the entire site) are logged for 30 days maximum. E-Mail logs are kept for 30 days maximum. When images are uploaded to the site, metadata is stripped away. The longest a login session can be is 60 days (without being logged out). These search query and e-mail logs are never randomly checked. You may close your account and/or have it fully deleted at any time by contacting @B via PM.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

No. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information.

Third party links

Occasionally, we may include third party links on our site, such as inside of the Blog posts. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Your Consent

By using our site, you consent to our web site privacy policy.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page.

TL;DR: We store nothing on the user, however, an e-mail is needed to create an account if you choose to do so and the IP address you currently are using is used to connect to the site, since that’s how the Internet literally works. These two pieces of information are viewable by the Admin only, but not stored. The only information stored site-wide are search query and e-mail logs that the site sends out. This information is kept for 30 days maximum and is never randomly checked.
